LITTLE DID Wii KNOW...that the insanity would carry over to this year!..and be EVEN WORSE ( if that is possible!) Once wii celebrated birthdays in October, Wii began the hunt for this Wii thing! After much hunting and online browsing, Wii were able to get our little hands on one and feel good about not getting ripped off! ( check Ebay for Nintendo Wii's and you'll see what I mean!)
Wii talked for months about how the Wii's were in such high demand that there was absolutely no way were going to get this thing....better come up with a back up plan! ( not hard for a 12 year old boy to do...but still a little disappointing for him) The media did a great job of helping us out..with newspaper articles and tv news spots on the demand for this HOT item! And so after much tormenting him...wii finally had him convinced that " Plan B" was in effect!!...and the surprise was bound to be spectacular on Christmas! Of course wii had a few bumps in the road after he did some snooping of his own and found an accessory kit( I really need to change my hiding spot next year!)...but wii managed to fumble our way through that!
Wii ended up opening our gifts Christmas eve because D was scheduled to work Christmas morning...and the surprise and excitement that wii had hoped for was definitely there! Bubba was completely shocked that he got what he had originally wanted.
Oh...and BTW... in 2 days Wii have had more fun with that thing. Christmas day was an absolute blast around here!!
